NCCER Basic Rigging & Signaling

Safety Training

It's common knowledge that construction relies upon the efficient handling and storage of various materials. Rigging involves lifting heavy items with cranes and other construction equipment, often at high elevations. Dozens of workers lose their lives in rigging-related accidents each year, most frequently when loads slip from the rigging setup, rigging equipment fails, and when electrical lines pose hazards.

Absolute Safety is an accredited assessment center (AAC) offering Rigger & Signal Person training and certification through NCCER. Rigging and signaling accreditation consists of assessments and practical examinations that meet or exceed current ASME B30 consensus safety standards and OSHA 29 CFR part 1926 subpart CC. Upon successful completion of the course, students are issued a NCCER certification.

We also offer an Absolute Safety Basic Rigging and Signaling course which follows the NCCER and API RP2D standards. Upon successful completion of the course, students are issued a Basic Rigger and Signaling certification.
